Click and Collect FAQ’s
Can I order over the phone?
No. We are now accepting click and collect orders along with walk in customers at East Coast Takeaway. All walk in customers will be required to wear a facemask. Only 4 customers will be allowed in to the takeaway at one time and must respect the social distancing measures that are in place. We kindly ask our customers that only 1 member of your household enter to place or pick up your order to help us control the crowds.
Do I pay for my order online or when I collect?
This is a no contact service so you will pay for your food when you order it online. You will be able to browse the available menu, choose your pick up time/date and pay for your order. You will then receive an email confirming all your details.
I’ve made an error on my order – can I change it?
Unfortunately not. It is extremely important that you take your time when ordering online and make sure everything is correct as we are unable to make any changes or substitutions once your order is placed. Refunds can NOT be given. If you have forgotten to add something to your order you can now email us and we can add this to your order and you can pay using contactless when you arrive to collect.
Can I choose my collection time slot?
Yes. We are currently providing a click and collect service from Friday- Sunday, between 4pm-8pm only. Within this limited time frame you can choose the day and time which suits you best. There is a specific amount of time slots available each day. Please double check that you are happy with your selected date and time selected before confirming your order. We are unable to make any changes once your order comes through to us. Please make sure you arrive at your chosen time as your order will be prepared and ready for you to collect at this time. Being late may result in your food quality deteriorating.
Why am I not able to place an order online?
If your unable to place an order, sadly this means all of our allocated slots are full. There is a limited amount of order slots available for each week and once they are gone – they are gone.
Do I need to tell you what condiments I require?
You will be able to select which condiments you will require with your food. We will not be adding this to your food instead we will add sachets of these inside your bag. This will help keep your food in top condition.
Are you offering gluten free fish and chips?
Yes – Our full gluten free menu is now back and available for click and collect as well as walk in customers.
